Bryan County Parks and Recreation will re-evaluate conditions on April 24th, 2020 to determine if we will resume regular spring activities. Our goal is to offer the spring programs based on updates concerning the COVID-19 situation that we are monitoring daily. Our first priority is to ensure the safety and well-being of our players, spectators and the citizens of Bryan County.
Leisure time recreation has become essential to everyday life. The Bryan County Recreation Department strives to maintain a quality parks and recreation program that benefits the community and satisfies the needs of its participants.
The Bryan County Department of Parks and Recreation is comprised of two operating divisions. Each location offers the use of their facilities for passive and leisure services to the citizens of Bryan County. Parks and Recreation services are provided in unincorporated Bryan County where they manage vast acres of park land.
Bryan County Recreation Department - Henderson Park/Timber Trail Branch maintains a facilities inventory of three recreation centers, four hard tennis courts, two gymnasiums and 26 athletic fields including two AstroTurf fields. While Bryan County Recreation Department - Hendrix Park Branch maintains a facilities inventory of one recreation center, two hard tennis courts, one gymnasium and 11 athletic fields.
