If you have a concern about a property and a potential violation of a County ordinance related to public nuisance, property maintenance, or zoning violation, you may submit a complaint through our public portal.

Code Enforcement will investigate the complaint within one to two business days. Code Enforcement will contact you after the preliminary investigation is completed and let you know the status of the case. If a case is not or cannot be resolved without issuing a summons for magistrate court, you may be asked to testify in court.
All complaints submitted to the Community Development Department are subject to the Georgia Open Records Act. If an Open Records request is filed, the complaint information, including emails, will be provided to the person requesting the information, unless exempted by State law.
