Republic Waste provides road side service.  Please place your trash cans at the road side on your designated trash pick-up day.  They pick up trash in Richmond Hill on Mondays and Tuesdays, and in Pembroke on Thursdays and Fridays.  They are only closed on Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Year’s Day.
Please bag ALL trash to eliminate trash on our road ways.

The local landfill sites will recycle the following items free of charge:

  • cardboard
  • plastic      
  • metal        
  • newspaper

Disposal Fees

The local landfills will accept bulk items like limbs or furniture at 6 cents per pound.  NO HOUSEHOLD GARBAGE WILL BE ACCEPTED.
